Feeling Stuck? An Unconventional Guide To Movement

“If it’s been said before, I don’t care. I enjoyed writing it. The end.” –Matt Chevy of Life Without Pants

I enjoyed this

Wow, I don’t know what to write.

Really, I’m stumped.

So instead of staring at this blank screen, I’m going to fill it up.

I’m going to keep moving forward.

“You’re free!” … all the little thoughts flitting in and out of my head.

Oh, oh, I was just thinking, it would be so liberating to stop “working out.” To get off the treadmill and walk places in the real world, places I actually need to go. Swoon, to have time to walk everywhere and drive nowhere.

Our fridge broke down last night and I wondered:  Could I stand the ugly, yellow fridge from the garage inside my kitchen? What’s it gonna be: $700 dollars for a new fridge or Old Yellow … Freeze that thought.

This is a really nice day. Not too busy, not too boring. I needed a day like this to catch my breath.

I played a few of my favorite writing songs:

I did some amazing work this week. In case you missed it, here are two posts you’ll LOVE …

Are You Waiting To Do Something Amazing?

Are You Doing Work You Love In A Culture You Can’t Stand?

I’m thinking: I enjoyed this …

Shannon O’s positivity.

Everett’s bits of wisdom.

Oh, and a little celebration of less.

The end.

Sitting in front of a blank screen (or paper) is to me worse than how most people fear public speaking. Beginning is all you really have to do. First.

Hi Mike – I definitely fear public speaking more than a blank page … At least with writing there is the backspace, haha.

There are times when we feel stuck, but we’ve always got the choice to do something about it. :-)

Or the choice to do nothing.

Choose something!
