I love Kathryn Stockett’s story -- I keep it in my head, almost like a mantra.

It's been rejection city here, lately -- novel, short fiction, you name it! It's funny, because I write to feel better -- always have. So, get rejected? Write, of course!

You have some great advice here. I also try to remember my successes, because they are there as well. Stories that have been published. Appreciative readers. And those quiet moments, when it's just me and the words but, inside, I know I nailed it.
